Mahesh Bangad is an Assistant Professor at Dr. Bhanuben Nanavati College of Architecture, Pune, India. He is a qualified Project manager from the University Of Manchester, United Kingdom. He is also a qualified Environmental Architect and Planner. A Life member of INTACH, a heritage enthusiast, Mahesh is an active member for all INTACH and IIID activities in and around the city. Mahesh has worked as a CEO for the ‘Healthy Cities International Conference’ in 2011. Last year, he also represented the State of Maharashtra at the UNESCO INTACH ‘World Heritage Forum for Youth’ at Delhi. He was the Co-Convener for an International Conference on ‘Participatory Approaches to Cultural Resource Management’ held at BNCA in Feb 2017.

He was awarded the ‘A3F Young Achiever Award’ for Architecture in Nov 2016 and has recently won the National Award ‘A3F Best Teacher Award’ for 2017. He conducts Workshops on Project Management in Building Construction and Thinking Design for colleges across India on various forums and has been invited for talks as well for the same. He has a strong connect with the student fraternity and is able to influence the young minds. He is currently elected on the Managing Committee of the Institute of Indian Interior Designers Pune Regional Chapter for 2017-19.
