Greetings!!

Welcome to the Department of Bachelor of Architecture, Interior Design at BNCA!!!

We at BNCA seek to prepare a generation of young architects who may better serve society, enhance life and enrich experience. We aim to train highly skilled professional architects with focus on interior design having a keen sense of observation, self leaning and detailing.

The Bachelor of Architecture, Interior Design - B. Arch., ID is truly a remarkable course.  Remarkable, because it is a dual course that firmly grounds a student into the essentials of architecture through exposure to various subjects such as architectural design, construction technology and materials, architectural drawing and graphics, basic design , theory of structures and landscape design and at the same time equips students to acquire specialized skill sets focusing on interior built environment through subjects like furniture design, advanced building services, specifications, advanced computer graphics and applications.

The course aims to produce architects armed with the knowledge, understanding and skills to respond to a wide range of contemporary human and cultural needs, through innovative, responsible and sustainable design practice. The department of B. Arch. - ID provides a vibrant design culture, ensuring its graduates are not only valued by practice, but are also able to make a critical contribution to the future of the profession.

Through this program, students also acquire a wide range of transferable skills: in design, communication, and high-level digital representation; team working and problem-solving; the ability to apply technology to design; an awareness of the construction industry and different forms of practice; and critical reading writing skills.

We aspire to generate architects who have imbibed the humanistic values of architecture. By now we have established ourselves as the leaders in architectural education in India. In these years we have faced big challenges of globally changing trends in a profession like architecture. Sensitive environment and hyper competition have set the rules of this profession and we have emerged stronger than ever before making a difference to architectural education and earning international recognition.

We believe that this is just the beginning and the best years are ahead of us.
